Fashion week for girl











As top designers graduate to the world stage, the local industry's most important event may have sacrificed quality for quantity, Glynis Traill-Nash writes.

It was about 2pm on Thursday that it happened. Fashion fatigue had begun to set in at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week and the assembled crowds were a little weary of looking at parades of smocks and tunics and little-girl chic. Then Alice McCall sent out smocks and tunics and little-girl chic.
